Sorry about that... The wifi bandwidth in Quartzsite is terrible. There are just too many people in the area and they all have smartphones. So, that means that I have trouble getting online or staying for very long.

Right now, I'm sitting in my robe looking at a desert sunrise while watching our new Sat tv system. Yep, we decided to use the system we have on the bus and got a Direct TV dish. It's going to cost about $37 a month and that includes the ability to get local channels at all locations. But our "older" model antenna isn't the greatest for quality picture. But for the time being, it's working.

That being said, we are supposed to be able to watch the same channel on all the tvs. And of course, we can't. There's a broken cable or a broken switching center or something like that according to our friend who has been attempting to resolve the issue. At least we'll be able to catch the playoff games now!

So far, we had the heating system maintained, the roof guy was here to finish sealing the new roof rivets and we've been to the big tent to see if there is anything else we can't live without.

The weather has been 45 at night and 70 during the day... no rain...

Before our friends arrived, we did go on a ride off Shea Road through a special cool canyon.

At the RV tent, Progressive had a video gizmo which we recorded (the girls of course). Notice I apparently have no idea what to do with that paddle.

We are here in Q until Wednesday and then we head to Parker for some river time.

I will try and update another posting when I'm feeling creative... which as shown, itsn't happening right now!
